Dear me but they are a miserable lot, aren't they? Feminists love to over-analyze everything and make every topic an issue revolving around gender stereotypes, women's rights, sexism, rape, and all other assorted topics of good cheer for the season. To the feminist, nothing is safe or sacred, nothing is to be respected, and everything must be mocked.
Christmas songs are a beloved part of the Christmas season but our dear, deluded lady at Feminist Frequency wants to interpret classic Christmas songs from a 21st century perspective. And by that, I mean she wants to unearth the innuendo in the most innocuous statements and then point a wagging, accusatory finger at it: "You see? This song is about rape! The man looked at her and said 'Baby it's cold outside....' Rape! RAPE!" And so, decent men bend over backwards to win their approval and show they're not rapists or "potential rapists", and in the process they become something less than a man, the kind of man that not even a feminist would want.
What do these morons think is going to happen when they've neutered all the men in the West and there's no one left to effectively defend them? Do they think by tearing down Western civilization they'll somehow be protected from the rest of the world? Criticizing beloved and harmless aspects of American/Western culture does not garner one respect, especially if that criticism is coming from a clueless female in her early thirties.
As the saying goes, "Women have spent the last three decades proving that men have been right for the last three millenia."
